For Cellphone, Music Players and Game Systems
Step 1: Cleaning Your Device
Before applying the skin, clean the surface of your device with a damp cloth with water. Make sure your device is dry and free from oil, dirt, finger prints or any residue. Do not put rubbing alcohol or water directly on your device.
Step 2: Skin Preparation
Prepare your skin for application by removing any excess stickers from the backing paper. Excess stickers are those covering speakers, buttons, and screen panels. Inspect your skin, so you know which piece goes where.
Step 3: Applying Your New Skin
Carefully peel the skin off the backing paper and be sure not to stretch any parts of the skin when peeling it up. Position the skin over the device and ensure that any windows on the skin are aligned with the appropriate spaces on the device. A good starting point is where a few buttons are close together. Firmly press the skin from the middle out towards the edges and push any air bubbles out from under the Skin.
* Repeat for all parts of the skin. *
Tips: You may apply a thin layer of water or glass cleaner to the adhesive side of the skin to prevent it from bonding too quickly to the surface as you line up the skin. A thin layer of glass cleaner will also allow you to reposition without stretching the skin. If you use this method, keep pressing down the skin until it is completely dry.
WARNING: DO NOT USE WATER OR LIQUID DIRECTLY ON THE DEVICE ITSELF. YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REAPPLY IF THE SKIN IS TORN OR STRETCHED.
